Bishangari Lodge is located in Ethiopia, 235kms South from the capital city Addis Ababa on the Eastern shores of Lake Langano. Bishangari is geographically isolated by the lake in the West, the escarpment of the Arsi Mountains to the East, and rocky outcrops and sheer sided hills to the North at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level. Drive from Addis Ababa up to the first turn to the road to Asela at 209kms. Drive for 7kms (on the rough red road), then turn left (immediately after the third bridge) and drive 5kms to cross the Container Bridge, and drive further 4.5kms up to Bishangari Lodge. Bishangari also has a weekend shuttle service available for your convenience, so if you are not in the mood to drive all the way from Addis to Bishangari, just hop in the shuttle (the shuttle leaves Addis Ababa on Friday afternoon and returns on Sunday evening).
